First blog from iPhone!!!!
It's an amazing feeling and I always thought AD was over reacting,seriously!!! How could a person be so obsessed with a phone? No,you can't but it's not a phone. IT'S iPHONE, DAMNIT !! Tonight after winning world cup writing blog from iPhone while using 3G network of Airtel. I mean what could be more exciting than that. Remember the ad of Ponds white face cream " bagal ki seat Khali hai". After waiting for almost 15 years, when I've my own moon in my head,married for 4 years, Godwilling I would become father this month, tonight a girl has come to sit with me. :-) "Bhagwan Ke ghar der bhi hai aur andher bhi hai" :-) While leaving home Mom said while traveling always be well dressed. As always I did not pay attention. Why it's so difficult to manage your parents expectation! I believe person starts to believe that now it's his/her turn to decide right or wrong. So no matter whether her parents are right or wrong she won't listen to it and feel proud in doing that, treating it as achievement rather small step towards freedom. Let's hear their parents views. It would be gross injustice with our children if we don't share (impose) what we have learnt over the years (in different timeframe, in different environments). OLD IS GOLD!! May be!!! But who wears gold these days!!! :-))

KU Activities update in April 2010
1. On 26th Jan., a Republic Day function was celebrated for our mess children at Mausi’s place. Children participated in dance, dramatics, singing and also gave presentation on Fundamental Rights. They were prepared by Mausi and other KUians for the function. A total of 29 mess children participated in the function.
2. On 8th Feb., Navodaya Entrance exam took place and this year we expect four to five selections from Basti.
3. On 14th Feb., one more Medical Camp was conducted in basti. We were supported by 3 Doctors, 2 from ENT department and 1 from Ophthalmology Department. Around 70 patients were examined. KU also made a follow through of the patients. KU has got contacts of the Heads of ENT and Ophthalmology in SSL hospital through B.B. Bansal sir.
4. On 24th March, Blood Donation Camp was organized in IT. KU met a record of 335 units donation, the largest BDC in entire UP, breaking previous record of 307 units. we faced some problem with warden of Rajputana hostel and hostel coordinator but eventually Dr. K.K. Gupta called Chief Proctor who supported the cause by donating 1 unit himself.
5. On 27th March, the Academic quiz was organized in Basti at SSN school. This year Harishchandra School also participated in the quiz. The quiz comprised written test, oral questioning which included GK, Logic, IQ etc , open Speech competition both in Hindi and English, Extempore and Memory games for kids.
6. A regular sewing machine classes were also started for Basti Girls which ran for around 3 months and will be set into motion in coming summers again.
7. KU also started work in one more Basti Pahadi Gaon near DLW. Chandan ji (Sanjay’s younger) run a school over there. KU is promoting and encouraging education in the Basti people, not providing any financial assistance to Chandan.
8. The education to mess children is going very smoothly and almost all the mess children are covered.
9. 10th class Board Exams are over so Basti children are doing other activities for utilization of summers.
10. As per the tradition of KU, this year also we are planning to collect materials from 4th yearites and M. tech II yearites.
